September 3, 1997 – When videogames are delayed for any significant amount of time, they are usually, for some reason, far below expectations. Games like Battlecruiser 3000AD, Ultima VIII, and Stonekeep were all pushed back repeatedly, only to be either incomplete (Battlecruiser) or simply bad (Ultima, Stonekeep). But occasionally, a game comes along that bucks that trend. And in the case of Final Fantasy VII, the latest output from RPG king Square, the end result justifies the delays without question. FF7 is, without a doubt, the new benchmark for console titles.
Set in a dystopian world, Final Fantasy VII’s story centers on mercenary Cloud Strife who joins with several others to stop the megacorporation Shin-Ra, which is draining the life of the planet to use as an energy source. As the story progresses, the situation escalates and Cloud and his allies must battle the game’s main antagonist, Sephiroth.

The PBP is patched and ready to play on CFW 5.02 M33 -2 (Untested on the GENS CFW but I figure it would play as well.) Just unpack the folder in the PSP/Game/ directory, and play.
